A beautiful orange ornamental heirloom pepper plant. Habaneros are known for their heat as well as citrusy taste. Peppers take on a lantern like shape ranging from 2 to 3 inches in length. They are said to have originated from the Yucutan Peninsula of Mexico. The scoville on these is around 445,000 units so pretty spicy to say the least.

How to Save Seeds

Peppers are self pollinators, but will cross within the same species much like squash so it's best not to plant two of the same species. Separate by at least 500ft. Once peppers are ripe on stalk and fully dry harvest them cut open and scoop out seeds. Allow to dry for a week or so. Dry method works great.
