Our Story

We are a farmstead family of four. We are trying to be as practical as possible. We compost, use worm castings, recycle grey water, and raise livestock in order to use their waste as a fertilizer. We are working towards trying to live off the land as much as possible and at the same time we are trying to make a positive impact our environment and our neighbors. We are in the process of adding more indigenous plants to our small farm in hopes of better managing the land while benefiting various plants and animals around us.

We were originally founded along the river bottom land of Southwest GA, but we are now located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North GA. We are not a corporate company in anyway; we are simply a small family owned husband and wife Christian business. We don't carry thousands of varieties, but the ones we do carry are some of the best and most loved heirloom varieties on the market today. We are also working diligently to grow some of the more rare varieties in hopes of bringing them back into circulation. We also work with other Non GMO growers in order to obtain varieties we don't have the space to grow.

Everything done on our small farm is done by hand whether its packaging, planting, watering, tilling, or shipping. We try to relate to our customers by being gardeners and growers ourselves. We, much like you, share in the excitement and sometimes disappointment that comes with gardening. We truly enjoy what we do and try to treat all our customers as we would want to be treated. We only sell Non-GMO Open Pollinated Heirloom Seeds and we would love the opportunity to gain you as a customer. We truly appreciate your business!

John 3:16 ~ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Luke 6:31 ~ And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

1 Corinthians 3:6 ~ I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

We have signed The Safe Seed Pledge.

safe-seed-pledge.jpg

"Agriculture and seeds provide the basis upon which our lives depend. We must protect this foundation as a safe and genetically stable source for future generations. For the benefit of all farmers, gardeners and consumers who want an alternative, we pledge that we do not knowingly buy or sell genetically engineered seeds or plants. The mechanical transfer of genetic material outside of natural reproductive methods and between genera, families or kingdoms poses great biological risks, as well as economic, political and cultural threats. We feel that genetically engineered varieties have been insufficiently tested prior to public release. More research and testing is necessary to further assess the potential risks of genetically engineered seeds. Further, we wish to support agricultural progress that leads to healthier soils, genetically diverse agricultural ecosystems and ultimately healthy people and communities."

We are not in any way associated with Monsanto or any other seed altering corporation.
