Forget me nots are a charming and delicate plant that belong to the Boraginaceae family.  Plants have gorgeous bountiful blue flowers. These small plants are characterized by their beautiful, sky-blue flowers with yellow centers, though they can also come in pink and white varieties. Forget-me-nots are biennial or perennial plants, which means that they can live for two years or more, and they are typically low-growing, reaching a maximum height of around 12 inches. They prefer moist soil and full to partial sun, and they are often used in gardens and as ground cover due to their ability to spread rapidly. Forget-me-nots are known for their symbolism of true love and remembrance, making them a popular choice for wedding bouquets and other sentimental occasions.

How to grow

Choose the right location: Forget-me-nots prefer a partially shaded location, with well-draining soil. They can also tolerate full sun, but may require more watering in hot weather. Plant in the fall or early spring: Forget-me-nots are best planted in the fall or early spring, when the soil is cool and moist. Sow seeds directly into the soil: Forget-me-not seeds are very small, so it's best to sow them directly into the soil. Scatter the seeds over the surface of the soil, and lightly press them into the soil. Water well. Water regularly: Forget-me-nots need regular watering, especially during dry spells. Water deeply, but be careful not to overwater, as this can cause root rot. Deadhead regularly: To encourage new growth and more blooms, it's important to deadhead your forget-me-nots regularly. Simply pinch off the spent flowers as soon as they start to fade.
