How to Save Seeds
Squash varieties readily cross-pollinate with other squash from the same species. Golden Summer Crookneck Squash belongs to the species Cucurbita pepo, so isolation by approximately 500 feet is recommended from other pepo varieties for maintaining seed purity.
Allow fruits to fully mature on the vine until late in the season before harvesting for seed saving.
After harvest, allow squash to cure for approximately one week before cutting open and scooping out the seeds and pulp.
Wash seeds thoroughly, spread them out on screens or paper for drying, and turn regularly to ensure complete drying before storing in a cool dry location for future planting.

Golden Summer Squash
I love growing these plants. They have been the most stress free variety to grow. And they produce a large amount of squash. Get the dirt healthy, plant the seed, and let them grow up and be plants. They will make you very happy, and full.

All of the seeds that I purchased from South Ga Seed Company from January 2021 have sprouted and are my best growing plants. My summer crookneck squash plant was extremely prolific!!!! Would highly recommend purchasing from here! (I wantes to upload my picture/video but I am unable to).
