How to Save Seeds
Tomatoes are primarily self-pollinating, so a separation distance of approximately 50 feet is generally sufficient to maintain varietal purity. Select healthy, fully ripe fruits from vigorous plants for seed saving.
Harvest tomatoes when fully ripe and allow them to sit for several days if desired to ensure complete seed maturity. Cut the fruits in half and scoop the seeds and surrounding gel into a jar partially filled with water.
Allow the mixture to ferment for 5 to 7 days in a warm location out of direct sunlight. During fermentation, mold may form on the surface while viable seeds settle to the bottom of the container.
Pour off the floating debris and nonviable seeds, then rinse the remaining seeds thoroughly through a fine mesh strainer. Dry the cleaned seeds completely on a screen or paper surface, stirring regularly to prevent sticking, before storing them in a cool, dry location for future planting.

Homestead Tomatoes
I love growing this brand. Although determinate, I get really great tomatoes. I buy these every year. Great soil and let the plant do the rest.
