Sweet banana peppers are a delightful addition to a variety of dishes, known for their mild, tangy flavor and vibrant yellow color. These peppers, typically harvested when they are between 4 to 6 inches long, can range in color from green to yellow, and sometimes even red as they ripen.
One of the most appealing aspects of sweet banana peppers is their versatility. They can be enjoyed raw in salads, adding a crisp, slightly sweet crunch. They are also excellent when pickled, offering a zesty accompaniment to sandwiches, burgers, or charcuterie boards. For those who enjoy cooking, sweet banana peppers can be stuffed with cheese, meats, or grains and baked for a delicious and hearty dish.
Growing sweet banana peppers is relatively easy, making them a popular choice for home gardeners. They thrive in warm climates and require plenty of sunlight, well drained soil, and regular watering. When planting, it's important to space them adequately to allow for air circulation and to reduce the risk of disease.

How to Save Seeds
Peppers are self pollinators, but will cross within the same species much like squash so it's best not to plant two of the same species. Separate by at least 500ft. Once peppers are ripe on stalk and fully dry harvest them cut open and scoop out seeds. Allow to dry for a week or so. Dry method works great.
