How to Grow Pacific Beauty Calendula

Choose a sunny location that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day for the healthiest growth and most prolific flowering. Calendula performs best in fertile well-draining soil enriched with compost or well-rotted organic matter.

Sow seeds directly outdoors in early spring or fall by scattering them thinly over prepared soil and covering lightly with a thin layer of soil. Water gently after planting to keep the soil evenly moist during germination.

Water regularly while avoiding overly saturated soil. During hot dry periods, deep watering once weekly is generally sufficient, though more frequent watering may be needed in extremely warm climates.

Deadhead spent flowers frequently by pinching or snipping faded blooms to encourage continuous flowering throughout the season. Fully opened blooms may also be harvested for fresh bouquets, edible garnishes, teas, and herbal preparations.

With minimal maintenance, Pacific Beauty Calendula will provide months of vibrant blooms, attract beneficial pollinators, and bring timeless heirloom beauty to your garden.

I use calendula to make salve for several things but diaper rash is the main thing. So since my granddaughter was just born a week ago and I'm low in calendula, I definitely needed this seed to perform and it absolutely did! Very happy!!!
