Purple podded pea seeds a.k.a the King Tut Garden Pea is hands down the most prolific garden pea we have ever grown. They climb to heights of around 6 feet tall and are laden with gorgeous pink and purple blossoms that soon grow into dark almost black velvety pods. These pods contain anywhere from 4 to 6 peas and are large in size. This is one of our favorite peas to grow here on our farm.

How to Save Seeds
Self Pollinating, therefore 50ft is sufficient to prevent crossing. When pods turn brown on plant and seeds rattle inside they are generally ready. Some larger growers often pluck them up with the roots and allow plants to dry out further however this is optional.
