★ Organically grown on our farm ★
We received this beautiful rare climbing lima from a fellow seed saver from our hometown of Bainbridge Ga. Mary Wilkins has been growing this extremely rare variety of Red lima for years. She received it from her brother who lives in northern Alabama and he actually received it from a friend. From the research I have done I believe it is called Worchester Indian Red pole lima. It's a very old variety pre 1860s. Its extremely prolific and has a very good. It will climb quite high so it needs good support. Beans may be more purple than red due to soil type. Very tough plants drought tolerant too!

How to Save Seeds
Limas can readily cross with other limas, so if you plan on growing to different varieties you must separate by at least one mile. Harvest when completely dried out, shell, and discard trash.
