How to grow

First, you need to prepare the soil. Giant hyssop prefers well-drained soil that is rich in organic matter. You can add compost or well-rotted manure to your soil to improve its quality. Next, it’s time to plant your seeds. You can sow your giant hyssop seeds in the spring or fall. If you are planting in the spring, wait until the last frost has passed. Plant your seeds about 1/8 inch deep and 12-18 inches apart. Once your seeds are planted, water them well and keep the soil moist until the seeds germinate. This usually takes about 2-3 weeks. Once your seedlings have sprouted, you can begin to water them less frequently. Giant hyssop prefers full sun but can tolerate some shade. Make sure your plants get at least 6 hours of sunlight each day. As your plants grow, you may need to thin them out to give them more space. You can also pinch back the tips of the plants to encourage bushier growth. With a little patience, care, and attention, you can grow beautiful giant hyssop plants from seeds in your home garden.
