These limas are a pole variety. The vines are large and can grow anywhere from 7 to 10' in length! They give large yields over a long growing season and where first brought to consumers in the 1800s by a Mr. Frank Platt. Great old time variety.

How to Save Seeds
Limas can readily cross with other limas, so if you plan on growing to different varieties you must separate by at least one mile. Harvest when completely dried out, shell, and discard trash.
